Whilst the big Belgium looked a force to be reckoned with during a successful Villa spell, the days of Christian Benteke looking like a genuine world beater are seemingly a thing of the past judging on the mans Liverpool form of late.
With Jurgen Klopp already signalling that the burly forwards days are numbered, Beneteke is reportedly considering his options.
Judging from his howling miss against Finland last night, the 25 year old may struggle for potential suitors.
With Belgium trailing 0-1 with 12 minutes remaining, Kevin de Bruyne provided Benteke with a glorious chance to pull his side level. Only the striker returned the favour by delivering a painful miss.
Funnily enough, strike rival Romely Lukaku did what Benteke couldn’t and later provided his side an equaliser as the star studded Red Devil’s finally managed to break the minnows down.
