Amateur referee Gabriel Murta is set to undergo physiological evaluation after pulling a gun out during a game he was officiating.
The incident occurred during the Brazilian amateur match between Brumadinho and Amantes da Bola. After being allegedly being punched and kicked due to an unpopular refereeing decision, Murta’s response was akin to Michael Douglas’ character in the film Falling Down.
It’s believed that only after his evaluation, will a decision on the renewal of his refereeing accreditation.
You certainly wouldn’t want to tell him if its bad news.
