Having yet to make an impact for a moribund Sunderland side as far this season, Victor Anichebe at least raised a few eyebrows this weekend after gifting the football fraternity an almighty social media gaffe following his sides 1-0 defeat against West Ham on Sunday.
Clearly hoping to keep club/fan relations on track following a worrying start to the Premier League season, the Sunderland PR team set about asking Anichebe to tweet a little message with view damage limitation very much on the agenda.
The Nigerian international somehow conspired to make things a hell of a lot worse.
If only they made things a little clearer on their email….
