Steve McClaren’s recent forays into the management world have largely ended in embarrassment. Of course the image that will haunt him for the rest of his days will no doubt be the ‘Wally in a brolly’ picture as taken whilst in charge of the national side.
Perhaps it’s for these reasons that the following video is all the more hilarious.
Having the misfortune of calling England v Iceland live on Sky Sports News minutes after the underdogs grabbed a seemingly fortuitous equaliser, the man with the greatest hair island in world football confidently predicted that England would pick themselves up and go on to dominate the match….only for his convincing display of defiance to be interrupted by Iceland’s second goal.
