What with the puzzling loss of star man Yanick Bolasie to Everton, it seems yet another of Crystal Palace’s club favourites is about to up sticks for a higher profile club.
Tricky wide-man and club favourite Wilfried Zaha has become the target of Tottenham Hotspurs, with Palace’s fellow Londoners currently negotiating a £15M deal in the wake of failed attempts to land Marseilles’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.
It is understood the 23-year-old attack arranged a meeting with Alan Pardew on Thursday morning, where he made clear his wish to join Spurs – news that no doubt equated to the scratching of chalk board’s for his manager.

Naturally its been reported that Pardew is said to have refused Zaha’s request, instead telling the player he would speak to chairman Steve Parish and only sell if the price was right for the club.
What with the White Hart lane genuinely looking like one of the most exciting clubs in the Premier League for English young players, it seems natural that the energetic flying winger would want to work and improve under the wing of Pochettino. Then again, the player and his team could easily be using the tittle tattle as a way to negotiated a new deal with the club.
Time will most definitely tell.
