SkySports have come under fire for choosing an image of Carlos Tevez in a West Ham United shirt and plonking it smack bang outside Sheffield United’s ground.
The two clubs became entangled in a rather ugly legal case in 2007 after the Hammers were found to have broken Premier League regulations in the signing of Argentine double ace Javier Masherano and Carlos Tevez, the Hammers took particular exception to the fact that only a fine was issued instead to the expected points deduction. The former Manchester City and Juventus striker popped up at the end of the season to score against Manchester United, a goal that effectively relegated the Sheffield side.
SkySports certainly know how to re-ignite old fires.
UPDATE: The poster has now been replaced by David Beckham!
