Poor Diego Costa had an torrid afternoon this weekend.
Not only did his side lose a Premier League fixture for the seventh time this season, the Spain international’s every move was followed by Ryan Shawcross, who, judging from one hilarious incident, smelt to high heaven.
Whilst Shawcross couldn’t even bring himself to respond to Costa’s frankly juvenile hand waving smelly hand signals, his wife duly poked fun at Costa’s protest on Twitter after the match.
At least we know the real reason why he never got that deserved run in the England side.
