Euro 2016 qualification may well be up in the air with Scotland hot in their tails for a play-off place, however Republic of Ireland’s banter levels dare we say are at an all time high.
In light of the LA Galaxy striker recently becoming a father for the second time, famous grump Roy Keane was questioned by journalists whether Robbie Keane would be available for selection with vital qualifiers on the horizon.
Quick as a flash the former Manchester United captain grumbled;
“Why wouldn’t he be available? He didn’t have the baby, did he?
Unless he’s breastfeeding. Robbie’s had a game and has been travelling [back to Dublin].”
Roy, always the charmer.
Questioned on his assistant managers no nonsense view on fatherhood, Robbie came back with this absolute zinger, almost certainly earning him a training match two footer courtesy of the angriest man in football.
He quipped:
“He’s used to it, he’s got bigger tits than me.”
Here’s the video…
So Robbie, what did you make of Roy Keane’s breastfeeding comment?
