After featuring a rather large part in Alan Pardew’s successful/yet somehow not successful spell with Newcastle United, it seems Yohan Cabaye is all but poised to reunite with his former manager.
With spirits already high around Selhurst Park following a more than encouraging end to the season, it’s believed an €18m offer, easily a transfer record for Palace, has been tabled for the French international. With PSG no longer considering Cabaye as a first team option, it’s likely to be accepted.
Just hours ago, Jason Burt of The Telegraph tweeted the following:
With the little playmaker supporting the likes of Zaha and Bolasi, Palace surely will have more than a relegation dogfight to look forward to.
