Tottenham fans may want to pay attention to a certain tricky winger currently on the books that goes by the name of Nathan Oduwa.
Currently on loan with Scottish Championship side Glasgow Rangers, the 19 year old is currently earning rave reviews for his habit of making absolute fools of any defenders he comes up against.
Here he is at his crowd pleasing best exhibiting a delightful mazy dribble to earn his side a penalty during his sides 5-0 win over Raith Rovers.
Speaking on the young man’s contribution, manager Mark Warburton gushed post game;
“For a 19-year-old boy it’s magnificent to show that level of quality.
He knows he has to impact the game in a positive manner, which he did, where to do the tricks in the right places to have that positive end product.
Good stuff…or is it?
Not everyone’s been quite so encouraging when it comes to the young players piss taking antic.
Mightily peeved at a last minute double footed rainbow flick during Ranger’s 5-1 with against Alloa Athletic, Alloa’s Colin Hamilton warned Oduwa.
“He’s come up here and he’s trying to show off, trying to make a name for himself. What can you do? I didn’t even get the chance to speak to him after the game as he just walked off. However, I’m sure if he tries that against other centre backs and left backs in the league they won’t let him away with it the same way.I felt as if he was trying to take the p***. What was there, a minute to go? Was there really any need for it?
Sounds like a right card….
