Mkhitaryan v Zorya
Whilst the beginning of his Manchester United career has been anything but rosy, Henrik Mkhitaryan’s recent introduction into the Red Devil’s first team has been nothing but encouraging for the ailing side.
The 27-year old former Dortmund superstar scored his first goal for the club during a 2-0 Europa League away victory over Zorya Luhansk.
Much was made of the appallingly frozen pitch pre match, still, Jose Mourinho’s multi million pound side eased to victory, with an opener from the above mentioned Armenian, as well as a late effort by the inimitable Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
No doubt, the games first goal was truly something to behold.
The win means United make their way into the last 32, finishing second in Group A, one point behind Fenerbahce and five ahead of third-place Feyenoord.
