Not wanting to line the pockets of their clubs despised and derided owner, a group of Newcastle supporters have unveiled this alternative new home shirt labeled under the new ‘Magpies Brand’.
Whilst being affiliated with a host of Newcastle Supporters groups, such as AshleyOut.Com, Gallowgate Shots, True Faith, Newcastle United Supporters Trust, Mike Ashley Out Campaign, the shirt is completely Wonga and Sports Direct free. Complete with the three silver castles on it’s right sided badge, as featured on the city’s original coat of arms, along with a sole magpie on the left, it’s not too shabby an effort by any standards.
Adding a nice touch, the shirts are available with a host of legends names on the back.
They’re currently selling for a bargain £27 (£32 with a name on the back), best be quick though, they seem to be going at a rapid rate.
Wouldn’t a stadium full of these things be a glorious site.
Now you can’t order one whilst the things are out of stock, however according to the groups twitter page, a second batch is currently on the way.
