Manchester United fans were left sending their best best wishes to Luke Shaw after the left back sustained a suspected broken leg against PSV.
The incident happened 30 yards out when the England international forced his way into the box only for Hector Moreno to hack at his incoming man. The impending challenge left the leg of Shaw horrifically dangling in his sock, whilst the challenge was badly judged the look on Moreno’s face certainly wasn’t one of relish.
At the time of writing United are at 1-1 with the Dutch champions having seen Memphis Depay score against his former club, only for public enemy number 1 Moreno to equalise with a header.
Shaw had put in a string of good performances for the Red Devils this season, looking to form an increasingly encouraging backline with Smalling, Stone and Clyne for England at the Euro’s, Like everyone, we can only hope Luke Shaw makes a speedy recovery.
