Liverpool to bid for £25m rated Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic

With news of Philippe Coutinho’s ankle injury costing him a significant chunk of the season, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as turned his attention back to Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic to be his replacement, according to Goal.com.

The 18-year-old American international has been a revelation for the Bundesliga side, appearing in 14 games and earning the confidence of his peers and management alike by scoring twice and assisting four more in top flight competition. It is no secret there will be a hefty price tag on the lad, rumored to be around £25m.

Pulisic has long had an eye on England, wanting to return to the country he lived in for a year during his childhood. “A lot of people don’t realize, but it really brought on my passion for the game.” He continued, “There were so many players that just showed so much skill and confidence in their games. I just loved the English style.”

With Jurgen Klopp attempting to navigate the Reds through a winter that sees Coutinho, Danny Ings and Sadio Mane missing from the team sheet, the youngster may have a chance to return sooner rather than later.
