After a summer being courted by Europe biggest clubs, it seems that German wonderkid Leroy Sane is about to up sticks for sunny Manchester after a deal was ironed out with the Citizens.
According to Bild, a whopping £42 million transfer fee has been agreed with current side Schalke for the 20 year old – with the player signing a four year contract.
Bayern Munich, Arsenal, PSG and Barcelona have all sounded out their admiration for the winger, the appointment of Pep Guardiola however has been seen as the decisive factor in obtaining the player.
Sane featured just as a cameo for the German side during the Euro’s, with Joachim Low selecting him ahead of other talented Germans due to some impressive performances for his club side on the way to a fifth placed Bundesliga finish – with the speedy dribbler scoring nine goals in 43 appearances in the process.
