Whilst his guise is far more understated than that of say Vinnie Jones, Roy Keane’s brooding underbelly of furious anger is something we would love to see on the silver screen some day.
Whilst Marvel cook up a brand new spandex wearing anti hero with the catch phrase ‘stick it up ya bollocks’, director Dave Tynan has filmed this beautiful looking short film titled ‘Rockmount’. Speaking to News talks Off The Ball last January, he commented “It’s a week in the life of a little boy called Roy in 80s Cork as he tries to get onto the football team. He’s a little too short but he’s not taking no for an answer. That boy is Roy Keane.”
