Never a man to shy away from a dust up during his playing career, Jamie Carragher was in no mood to take the sentiments of former teammate Dietmar Hamann during a Twitter based tête-à-tête.
Taking exception to the scathing review of Liverpool keeper Loris Karius courtesy of Gary Neville recently, one Twitter user was rather keen to point out to Hamann that Reds legend Carragher had been equally scathing of the German stopper’s recent performance.
The fellow Champions League winner responded thusly…
Carra is out of order too. Karius is 23 years old and played over 100 top flight games. Outrageous comments, deserves a little more respect https://t.co/DV7Wn2Ldt2

You can criticise as much as you want but you don't tell an adult to shut up. Poor form https://t.co/gmaaoeqkl1

To which Carra replied.
Shut up. https://t.co/e4ZBjf8Ijl

For which the SkySports pundit knocks it out the path with…..
You heard….weren't telling me to shut up when I got you out of that Tokyo nick in 2005. https://t.co/LcnMi2E3XA

Brutal
And what’s would Carragher be talking about?
Here’s Hamann in his very own words…..
