Whilst the day was marred by some ugly scenes between section of both sides support, Hibernian’s Scottish Cup triumph was undeniably a great day in the history of the club.
After battling to a 3-2 win in an exhilarating clash with newly promoted Rangers (goals coming courtesy of a brace from former Celtic striker Anthony Stokes and a last gasp winner from David Gray), Hibs picked up the trophy for the first time since 1902.
