Being somewhat of experts in this field (just check out these maniacs here), particular dues have to be payed out to Brazilian defender Ferreira and his absolutely magnificent hissy fit during a league match in Brazil’s third tier.
With his side 2-0 down to Boa Esporte, Ferreira is seen bringing down opposition striker Rodolfo with minimal contact. Seeing his ‘victim’ hit the floor like a wet and rather sneaky salmon, the Guarani player takes particular exception to the referee’s decision to send him off.
With the mist very much descending, Ferreira proceeds to make a quick lunge for the official with the veracity of an angry bear (ties up the salmon comparison nicely). Luckily his fellow teammates intervene to disrupt a potential murder scene, unluckily for one teammate, namely fellow player Auremir, it didn’t end too well after being flipped on to the floor during the moment of madness.
Fortunately for everyone armed police were on hand to bring back a little sanity…
