Seemingly taking their cue from 1860 Munich’s Oktoberfest effort, Cologne have unveiled their own equivalent in celebration of the city’s annual Karneval festival. Or to be more precise one of the oldest traditional groups to participate in the event, the oten Funken (Red Sparks) guards.
For those associated with the imagery, yes they have included the lovely looking tassels complete with cummerbund.
