Emmanuel Frimpong is literally now wearing the word ‘Dench’ on the back of his shirt

Having made a name for himself by appearing on the fringes of the Arsenal side as well as appearing in music videos (okay perhaps just one), Emmanuel Frimpong has popped up in the Russian Premier League playing for his former sides namesake FC Arsenal Tula.

The wacky midfielder indeed made his debut appearing in the 69th-minute against FC Ural as a sub, not by wearing ‘Frimpong’ on the back of his Jersey, but ‘Dench’ – because all the kids are still saying it no doubt.

Of course, it’s been translated on social media for our amusement.

Funnily enough, the battling midfielder was hauled off the pitch shortly before the final whistle. Could it get more ‘Dench’ than that?

It’s fair to say, if your footballing career is better known for the catchphrase you’ve created, perhaps there hasn’t been enough talking with the ‘Ol feet.

Saying that, I’m currently writing this article in my pants.
