Former Red Devils Star’s Move to West Ham “Can Happen” – Rudi Voller

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has placed perennial Premier League players West Ham United on full alert after he hinted the German club are open to selling Mexican super striker Javier Hernandez.

The Hammers have upped their interest in signing Chicharito in recent weeks, as the London giants look to bolster their attacking options before the opening of the upcoming 2017-18 season, according to Sky Sports.

Indeed, club insiders have indicated that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is a big fan of the 29-year-old goal-poacher from Guadalajara, particularly of the player’s quick reflexes inside the box, and the gaffer is keen to bring such attacking talent to the Olympic Stadium.

The former Manchester United footballer has a £13-million release clause in his contract, which is set to expire in a year. It also appears unlikely Leverkusen will hand Chicharito a new deal in the near future. As such, the German side will be keen to make sure they profit on the player this summer – an agenda Leverkusen’s Voller has revealed recently.

“Many [clubs] are interested in [Chicharito] because of his talents,” the Leverkusen club official was quoted as saying by the German news site Augsburger Allgemeine.

“We’ll wait and see. Something could happen later on,” Voller teasingly added.

Chicharito has been prolific in Germany so far, scoring 39 goals in two seasons with Leverkusen so far, indeed you’d be wise to bet on such large numbers with www.dailyenhanced.co.uk if the Mexican did manage a Premier league return. Such an eye for goal will definitely be a huge asset for West Ham, who will no doubt hasten their approach for the player now that Leverkusen have hinted their intent to sell.

Whether the deal does indeed push through in the next couple of weeks, of course, remains to be seen.
