Everton have reportedly stepped-up their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the Mirror.
The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils from Southampton in a £25 million deal last summer, but struggled to make an impact during his first season at Old Trafford.
The report claims, The Toffees boss Ronald Koeman remains close to the Frenchman as they both previously worked at Southampton and will table a bid this summer’s transfer window.

It is believed that United are after Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Schneiderlin has racked up 29 league appearances for Manchester United last season and scored only one goal.
