Manchester City bounced back from the Champions League stupor with an almighty 3-1 win over Barcelona.
After already throwing superlatives the way of the Spanish league’s Champions in previous weeks, Pep’s side put in a performance of overwhelming excellence in the games second period to stun the visitors.
The Catalans looked the better of the two in the opening half, with Leo Messi prancing his way into the box to deliver the games opening goal.
Undeterred by the set back, City proceeded to press writhing an inch of their lives, eventually finding an equaliser through Ilkay Gundogan.
As if the home contingent weren’t spoilt enough, Kevin De Bruyne then stepped up to thunder a superbly struck free-kick past Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Barca goal.
And it went a little like this……
