With the Scottish side winning no friends among their Swedish cousins following a highly fraught first leg defeat, Malmö claimed the sweetest of victory’s by seeing off Roddy Deila’s Celtic 2-0 (4-3 agg) to qualify for this years Champions League.
Celtic generally looked poor over the evening, and now have too look back in disappointment at, not only missing out yet again on the continents premier competition, but knowing their fate was sealed via two sloppy goals from set pieces.
Striker Leigh Griffith seemingly summed up frustrations when needlessly kicking an opposition player in the balls.
Somehow he escaped an early bath.
