After a litany of public PR disasters, Blackpool FC yet again made the footballing world cringe to within an inch of its life after this latest gaffe.
After famously having their ground reduced to cinders following a huge fire in 1985, a tragedy that claimed the lives of 56 fans, Bradford City fans were made to listen to a colourful pre match soundtrack prior to this weekends League One fixture that included Billy Joel’s chronological classic We Didn’t Start The Fire’.
Misjudged.
Post match, an apology was made.
The club would like to apologise for any unintentional offence caused by a song played at today's match.
