After giving the returning Dunga the ol’ ‘heave-ho’ in light of his failings, Corinthians manager Tite has accepted an offer to coach the faltering side. Only his his appointment has been met with fury at from former club.
Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade accused the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) of wooing their prized possession away using some rather underhand tactics and unethical behaviour .
Tite, who led Corinthians to two Serie A titles, the Copa Libertadores and the World Club Cup during his spell with the club, is all but signed on to take the position.
Before he signs on the dotted line, De Andrade decided to hit out at the confederation.
He commented;
“I am furious with the CBF,” Andrade told reporters.
“They didn’t even call us once. It wouldn’t have changed anything if they’d called us and asked for permission to talk to the manager. Of course I’d have said yes.
“Tite deserves the national side for the work he has done and for the person he is.
“The national side doesn’t deserve Tite. The CBF doesn’t deserve a person like Tite. They aren’t used to dealing with ethical people.”

Take Ng particular exception to the presidents acid tongue, the CBF responded by saying they had in fact tried to call Andrade on Wednesday morning following three hours of negotiations with Tite but were unable to reach him via phone or text.
