What with club liquidation, scandalous running of the club and a nearly but not quite promotion push last year, It’s been quite the topsy turvey ride for Rangers in recent years.
Last nights 1-0 home win against Dumbarton, courtesy of a James Tavernier winner, completed the clubs resurrection after tumbling down to division three fours years prior. Now Rangers fans can finally say their team is Scottish Premiership side.
After the game, Andy Halliday joined the Rangers fans in the stands, where he got a megaphone and began leading them in promotion celebrations.
All this and a Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday week against some team called Celtic.
The good times are truly returning to Ibrox.
