Alex Ferguson penned eloquent poem to let his Aberdeen players know they’ve been fined

Never a manager to tolerate nonsense of any kind on his strict watch, it’s nice to see Manchester United legend Alex Ferguson had alternative strings to his bow when it can to player discipline.

Here’s a little gem that appeared on Reddit over the passed few days. Shown is a little poem written by the Scotsman himself whilst managing Aberdeen.

To add some context, during a pre-season trip to Benidorm Neale Cooper and John Hewitt had decided to bounce a ball from outside their hotel room to see how far up it would bounce. Misjudging their angles, the ball hit the edge of the swimming pool only to bounce over the area fence. All of the incident secretly occurred right under the watchful eye of Sir Alex and his assistant Archie Knox.

Here’s the man’s response…..
