Just as national expectations began to lay at a level in keeping with the squads talent, Alan Shearer goes and blows his load all over Harry Kane.
Speaking on Match of the Day in light of the Spurs favorites spot kick equaliser against Leicester during their FA Cup 3rd round draw, the Newcastle legend hit everyone with some true Kane loving.
Commenting: “If I was the manager or chairman of any club in the world, I’d be telling them to go and get Harry Kane. Go and spend 80 or 90 million pound on him.”

And the man stood by it on Twitter.
Bale at Spurs 188 appearances 53 goals=£86m
Martial 34 apps 14 goals= £36m
Kane 75 games 50 goals = how much then? https://t.co/9EBXNbZQL1

I cost £15m I wasn't worth that but it was my market value therefore on market value I'd pay £80-90m to get Kane

It’s fair to say, he quite likes him.
We’ve established he’s not a one season wonder, don’t ruin him everyone Alan.
