The AEPD, that’s the Spanish Sports Press Association, have stated that the body “demands a public retraction” after Dani Alves laid into fellow colleagues treatment by the press using a stinging attack on his Instagram.
The former Sevilla flying wing back commented; “we are objects used by the press so that they can sell newspapers”
before labelling the Spanish media as
“f****** rubbish”.
What’s particularity got the Brazilians goat is the tongue lashing Barcelona players received following their bad tempered 4-1 win in the Copa del Ray on Wednesday. A game in which Luis Suarez received a two match ban for his taunting of an Espanyol player, not to mention a tunnel bust up involving fellow players.
Clearly incensed with the players outburst, the AEPD released the following statment; “The Spanish Sports Press Association rejects, condemns and demands a public retraction of the Barcelona player while studying legal action, because ‘such statements are subject to criminal prosecution’, as lawyers consulted.
