Tottenham unveil some new surprises in 61,000 redevelopment of White Hart Lane

After snatching Toby Alderweireld right under the noses of Southampton, it seems there’s more news to come out of Tottenham today after plans for their long awaited brand speaking new re-development of White Hart Lane were unveiled.

With the usual discrepancies over land that seem to embroil any large stadium construction, it’s been devised that along with the usual new ground add ons, cafés, cinema, megastore etc, the build will include some rather interesting additions.

Proposed is a ‘Sky Walk’, “an adrenaline-filled experience & attraction for all ages walking on top of the stadium with spectacular view”. Not only that, the new White Hart Lane redevelopment is to include “the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall”.

How are Spurs going to afford such luxury’s when so much of Gareth Bale’s transfers funds are pissed up the wall willy nilly? Well…..

Capitalising on the NFL’s success with having matches hosted at Wembley Stadium, WHL will host two games a year at a whopping £3m a piece. With a retractable pitch unveiling artificial turf underneath, they’ll be no worries concerning the defamation of the playing surface by those oversized brutes neither.

Get this Spurs fans, with the new capacity sitting at a mammoth 61,000, the ground will be exactly 568 seats larger than the Emirates.

Every win counts…..
