Whilst England have been away slaying fierce rivals Germany in their own backyard at a canter, forgotten midfield gem Mark Noble was celebrating 12 years and 350 appearances for West Ham United with a star studded Upton Park testimonial.
An all time classic Hammers XI were defeated by a current first team in an outrageously entertaining 6-5 result, with Noble’s team the victors.

One of the charities to benefit from the occasion was the Dylan Tombides Foundation, set up after the Hammers’ trainee passed away from cancer. And it was fitting that his brother, Taylor, would score a rather fine goal himself for the All-Stars’ team.
Goal of the match undoubtedly belonged to former potential England star and perennially injured Dean Ashton who, despite his rather large frame, scored this acrobatic beaut.

And the #banta didn’t stop there.
Here’s Goalkeeper Adrian running the length of the pitch to score a rather fortunate effort…
