As the twice yearly borefest came to an end at midnight last night, it was good to see Charlton fans enjoy ‘Deadline Day’ with a spot of school boy humour.
The Championship strugglers have completed the signing of 34-year-old defender Rod Fanni from Qatari side Al-Arabi for the rest of the season. Whilst the right back will hardly be pulling up trees on the pitch, at least he’ll give the fans endless opportunities to take the piss out of his name.
Just look how they took the news on Twitter.
