There are some certainties in football, England will no doubt exit a major tournament under humiliating circumstances, an English manager will lose his job by November, and El Hadji Diouf will yet again bring up his ugly, and in fact boring, feud with Liverpool pair Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.

Previously the former Reds player has chimed in with digs at both the former defender and midfield legends, now Diouf took a swing at the pair whilst talking to BBC Africa.

Taking aim at Gerrards lack of international success, the Senegalese born 36-year old chimed in with:

‘He never did anything for his country.’

‘I’m Mr. El Hadji Diouf, Mr. Senegal.’

‘He’s Mr. Liverpool. Senegal is bigger than Liverpool.’

‘He has to know that.’

Baffling. ALl before having a dig at, well, Jamie Carraghers Scouseness.
