Former Manchester United legend wades into fellow French international in brutal fashion

Judging by the man’s recent ‘performances’ via the medium of social media, former Manchester United legend Patrice Evra isn’t afraid to pull the spotlight on himself.

And it’s not just wacky dancing that the Frenchman excels in, he’s now in the business of hanging fellow countryman out to dry in brutal fashion.

Speaking in a recent interview with SFR Sport, via Foot Mercato, Evra chose to wade into fellow Premier League alumni Christophe Duggary when talking to former Chelsea and Spurs centre-half William Gallas.

Discussing Dugarry and his friendship with the great Zinedine Zidane, Evra states:

‘If he has a problem with me, let him come to Marseille, let’s discuss it. No problem. I respect him. Champion of the world, European champion.’

Before coming in with the hammer blow;

“I think in all that, he’s the only person in the world who knows the exact number of pubic hair Zinedine Zidane has on his family jewellery.”

As we said, brutal.

Following the famous World Cup 2010 fiasco, in which a number of high profile France players fell on the wrong side of unpopular manager Raymond Domenech, Evra has been the subject of much criticism among former players in his home country. Indeed, the former Birmingham striker Duggary, now a pundit on French TV, has been particularly critical of late. Naturally, France has been gripped with the latest controversy involving the two, with Evra’s comments being a major talking point in the sport.
