West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell ruled out for up to four months

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]est Ham fans were left ruing their luck ahead of the new season after star left-back Aaron Creswell suffered a knee ligament injury whilst on pre-season.

The 26-year-old featured in a friendly against German club Karlsruher when a robust challenge by opposition midfielder Grischa Promel left the England candidate writhing in agony.

West Ham have commented that Cresswell would see a specialist “early next week”, only then will a decision would be made on whether surgery would be required. However the expected time on the sidelines will be up to four months.

After joining the Hammer’s from Ipswich in 2014, the left back went on to play 37 games for the London Side during a stellar season.
