To put it mildly, Iceland were in rather good spirits following their absolutely superb battling win over England in yesterday’s last 16 fixture.
After the final whistle, England players collapsed in utter devastation after they were outplayed and out fought in all areas of the pitch. Iceland by contract were busy celebrating, quite rightly, like absolute maniacs among their own contingent.
This display of Viking-esque slow clapping once again reiterating why they have been the best thing about this competition as far.
