Poole presented with the largest trophy known to man after clinching Southern League Premier Division title

Poole Town were left celebrating a long ardous season after clinching the Southern League Premier Division title, courtesy of a convincing 3-0 win over Bideford on Tuesday night.

The result means next year the lads will be digging it out in the Vanarama National League South.

Unfortunately for those players who valued their arms, there was the frightening obstacle of lifting the absolutely humongous trophy at the end of the match – so big it’s surely some kind of joke, no?

Luckily they used that steely uncompromising team work that has gotten them so far to lift the damn thing.
