“I’m not to blame for your muggy life” – Carlton Cole embroiled in Twitter spat with Celtic fans

Despite showing promise in the early part of his career, Carlton Cole has found himself languished on the Celtic substitute bench for much of this season.

Whilst the lanky striker had hoped for to resurrect his career following an unsuccessful second spell at West Ham, Cole has managed just one start in all competitions and that came against League One minnows Stranraer in the Scottish Cup.

With his perceived lack of fight, the former England international has become ‘fair game’ for Celtic supporters wanting to air their grievances – yesterday that manifested itself in a rather cliched ‘social media spat’. Cole felt the need to defend himself after being a labeled “waste of wages” and an “imposter” by club fans. (who have since made their accounts private)

And it went a little like this….
