Klopps spectacles take a bashing during goal celebration in 5-4 thriller against Norwich

What with both sides treating defending as if it’s some nonsense dreamt up by a mystic in a far away land, Liverpool and Norwich treated Premier League fans to an absolute goal frenzy yesterday afternoon, as Klopp’s side came away from Carrow Road with a 5-4 victory.

What with a relegation battle now a reality for the East Anglian’s, the Canaries will be particularly frustrated after leading the match 3-1 courtesy of goals from Bezua, Naismith and Hoolahan.

Liverpool fought back superbly to a gain a 4-3 advantage with Brazilian Firmino particularly in scintillating form, only for former Newcastle centre half Bassong to grab a 90th equaliser.

There was to be one last twist however as a Adam Lallana winner sparked chaotic scenes with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp racing along the touchline to celebrate with his players.

Along with their opponents, his glasses very much become a victim of excitement.

[gap height=”20″]After the game Klopp joked about struggling to find his missing spectacles, commenting “it’s really difficult looking for glasses without glasses”…

Lovely stuff.

Here’s the match report if you’d like to find out more.
