Chilean stopper Lawrence Vigouroux probably couldn’t wait to tell ‘the lads’ after he handed in £50 smackers in pennies when fined by Swindon Town.
Currently on loan with the 17th placed League One side, Vigouroux swiftly had his loan contract torn up after his exploits unsurprisingly were deemed an absolute piss take by the club.
Originally fined £150 for turning up to training late, senior players in fact got the fine down to £50, only for the keeper to respond to such disciplinarian tactics in the grandest of manners.
As the young keeper return’s to play out the rest of the season in the Liverpool u21’s, it probably doesn’t seem such a good idea on reflection.
