Hertha Berlin’s team bus shot at before German Cup match

The driver of Hertha Berlin’s team bus has been left reeling after a motorcyclist reportedly shot at the vehicle whilst the team were en route to their latest German cup opponents, Arminia Bielefeld.

After taking over the coach in Bielefeld, north-west Germany, Hertha general manager, Michael Preetz, told Sport1 that the mystery perpetrator waved their hands in anger. Upon appraching a roundabout a gun was pulled with the resulting shot failing to penetrate the windscreen.

Preetz continues;
“It was one shot but we cannot say what the motivation was. The bus driver immediately called the police and now the search is on for the culprit. This was an attack on life and limb and not a trivial matter. It’s simply madness.”

Truly stiring stuff. Thank christ no one was injured during the incident.
