1. What we are looking for.
The following article types –
Top 10’s
– eg. The greatest players never to play for their country, the top 10 biggest transfer flops etc
‘Flashback’ pieces
– A moment from football history that was shocking, funny or even just made you feel all warm inside.
General opinion pieces
– Your views on your club, international side, manager, tactics even the game as a whole.
2. Word Count
Well we believe that a good article should be at least 450 words. Anything less than this will probably mean your article will be lacking in descriptive content, it may still be read but it may not have the impact desired.
3. Links
You may want to add a link to your own site or other football related site. This is completely fine. Please ensure their are no links to inappropriate websites, Pornography, malicious websites etc
4. Images
Try to include a royalty free image to your article. There are many sites such as Flickr which allow you to search for exclusively royalty free images. Please indicate the source of this picture using its web address at the end of the article.
Alternatively leave it blank and we’ll assign one of our own.
5. Edit
We don’t offer an editing option for your articles as yet. If you would like to change anything, please either resend the full corrected article using the submit article page, alternatively just send it to us at admin@dispensablesoccer.com
6. Category
We will determine a category when we’ve received your work.
7. Offensive Material
Our website has zero tolerance for offensive or inappropriate material.
Such as;
Racism
Sexism
Xenophobia
Pornography
Users who exhibited any of these examples will not have work published and more than likely be removed as users.
