Clearly tired of the many many put downs laid upon him by the press over his managerial competence, Louis Van Gaal has seemingly taken to some good old school yard name calling.
The former Ajax and Barcelona coach appeared to have a confrontation with the Sun’s Neil Custis post his sides thrilling 3-3 draw with Newcastle.
Irked by question about his captain Wayne Rooney earlier on in the presso, Van Gaal responded thusly;
“You have criticised him, I don’t.”
And as he walked away, added;
“You too. Fat man. There.”

Speaking to the BBC afterwards, Curtis confined that that fat man jibes had been directed his way, and he responded thusly; “You are right Louis I am fat.
“I had a knee operation four months ago that stopped me running and going to the gym.”
A tame comeback by anyone standards.
