Forget Signings: 3 Players Who Could Leave Liverpool This Summer #LFC #EPL

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp seems to be on a mission; a mission to take the Merseyside club Liverpool to the paramount, or we can say a place where they belong. The German manager, who signed for the Reds last October was exceptional last season and many pundits believe that he is the right man to guide the team to the titles in the coming season.

To be perfectly honest, right at this very moment, Liverpool aren’t considered to be a title favourite, yet we think that Klopp can easily give the manager like Jose Mourinho, Guardiola and Conte a run for their money. The German has filled the confidence back into the veins of the players and that, for us, was the main reason, why the squad, who performed badly under Rodgers tore the opponents like Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund apart.

Now, with a new season coming up, a huge transformation is understood at Anfield. Klopp has already concluded 3 summer signings, namely, Loris Karius, Joel Matip and Sadio Mane and besides that, he will also welcome the loanees like Marko Grujic and Lazar Markovic. Many believe that Klopp still wants a couple of names in the squad and is currently working on it, but to add new faces, he will need to get rid of the deadwoods in the current squad, and here, we give you 3 names, who could be sold or could leave Anfield this season:

Christian Benteke-

The first and obvious names would be of the Belgium international striker, Christian Benteke. After spending three wonderful seasons with Aston Villa, scoring 49 goals, the Belgian international was signed by the former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers to fill the void of Luis Suarez, who left for Barcelona. Benteke failed badly to live up to the expectations of the fans and soon after the arrival of Klopp, he lost his place to the second choice striker, Divock Origi.

Now, the Mirror has reported that the 25-year-old striker is keen on moving out of the Anfield and the fellow English club Crystal Palace is the favourable destination. The same source has reported that the deal is yet to be finalized, but the player has agreed personal terms with the Eagles.

Danny Ward-

The 23-year-old Welsh international made some handful of appearances for the Reds last season, thanks to Jurgen Klopp, but now, the arrival of Karius into the squad has endangered the future of the 22-year-old Danny. The shot-stopper, who signed a new five-year contract with the Reds in June 2015 was loaned to Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen few days later. But in January 2016, he was recalled by Jürgen Klopp.

He made 29 appearances for Aberdeen and impressed the spectators as he managed 13 clean sheets in all competitions for the side. As stated earlier, Liverpool have already signed Loris Karius and it is obvious that Klopp would prefer Mignolet as the second choice keeper over Ward, therefore, we think that Ward should leave the club if he tends to get a regular first team action.

Mario Balotelli-

Everyone saw that coming isn’t it? The 25-year-old made a surprise move to Anfield in the summer of 2014 and was supposed to fill the shoes of Luis Suarez, but the Italian striker, did what he is known for. The 25-year-old was surely a panic buy and never looked like a member of Liverpool’s family. Balotelli, who once in his career was considered as the future of the sport was sent back to Milan on a season long loan. But Balotelli failed there as well as he managed to net just 3 goals in 23 appearances.

Balotelli has joined the training sessions with the Reds, yet many believe that this is the final time, Balotelli will be training with the Reds as Klopp is not at all a fan of the Italian. Now, according to the reports, Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has offered Mario Balotelli an offer to return to Italy, now, it is up to the player to decide his future.
