Chelsea quashed rumours of backroom discontent to swipe aside Leicester City this weekend during a comfortable 2-1 win over 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City, matc you were able to find among other Chelsea Live Streams on this here page. Here’s our match report on match action

Despite Leicester giving their all to seek a crucial equaliser in the dying minutes of the game, current champions Chelsea stood their ground and won the game 2-1, ensuring the away fans go back to London with smiles on their faces.

Proving himself to be a worthy investment, £56-million striker Alvaro Morata once again scored for Chelsea against the Foxes at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, with fellow teammate and midfield general N’golo Kante scoring what proved to be the winner in the 50th minute.

Morata’s sublime header, assisted by a brilliant cross from Cesar Azpilicueta, opened the scoring at the 41st minute of the first half, splitting Leicester’s dogged defence wide open.

The Spaniard’s goal brought relief to the Chelsea faithful, who thought they’d never see the former Real Madrid target man score during the game after he had no less than three attempts beforehand saved by the very capable Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

The Foxes, no doubt about it, did not play the first half lightly. Attempts from Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani got the home fans on the edge of their seats, though none would lead to any goal.

Chelsea got their second goal in the second half, with Kante getting himself in the scoresheet with a goal club legend Frank Lampard would’ve been proud of – a fantastic goal from outside the box.

Leicester caught themselves a lifeline just after the hour mark after Blues keeper Thibault Courtois committed a foul inside his area. Vardy would step up and score the penalty.

The Foxes then dug in deep and roared on, seeking that late equaliser, but it wasn’t meant to be, and the defending Premier League champions sealed their win in the end.

Leicester’s loss meant they have only one of their opening four games in the league, having only notched three points thus far. This sends them down to 17th in the table, with signs of a shaky season once again on the horizon.
