Champions League draw: Man United, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea meet their fate

United no doubt happy whilst Celtic and Spurs gear up for a tough one

As Europe’s uber clubs waited on Liverpool’s successful dismantling of Hoffenheim 24hrs before for the final place, the Champions League group draws have officially been unveiled during UEFA’s ceremony last night with some rather interesting features for all 5 British clubs involved.

As revealed courtesy of the below image, Manchester United will be pleased with what looks, on the face of it at least, a seemingly favourable group alongside the likes of Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moscow.

Similarly, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side will be thanking their lucky stars as they face up to Russian’s other big Moscow team, Spartak, as well as Seville and Maribor,

Celtic, Liverpool and Tottenham on the other hand, well, just have a look for yourself.
