Tottenham mull over Zaha signing

Speculation has been running rampant for weeks now over the future of Wilfried Zaha, given his sides recent change of manager, things have only be ratcheted up further. It is said that Zaha was none too pleased to have seen that Alan Pardew was leaving Selhurst Park for Big Sam Allardyce. Under Pardew, Zaha turned into the player that he’d had the potential to be. After him, he may feel that he isn’t going to be given the opportunity to shine or to improve like he was afforded under an attacking and enterprising manager in Pardew.

Tottenham are the most likely-looking side at the moment as Mauricio Pochettino had tried to sign the pacey winger back in the summer transfer window to no avail. Poch has seen his side’s form stutter all season, and he will be looking to help give the spine of his side some help from wide areas. Having been undefeated for a long stretch to start the season, Spurs simply haven’t always been at the races. With Zaha out wide, they could reignite a Champions League charge.

Whether Zaha goes or stays is going to be huge news because Palace desperately need creativity if they are to stay in the league. With it becoming apparent that Christian Benteke is only going to score goals that are handed to him on a platter, Palace are going to need someone to give him opportunities. Besides Cabaye, Zaha is the only constant threat in the side, and Big Sam surely will do everything he can to hang on to his newly inherited winger.
