Fresh from his abhorrent spell north of the border, Joey Barton has returned to the Premier League after being snapped up by Burnley.
The decisive midfielder had featured for the Clarets during a successful Championship run just last season, however a disastrous 6 month spell with Glasgow Rangers, in which he bickered heavily with teammates, got caught up in a betting scandal and then got signed off with stress, has led Barton to be re-homed within Sean Dyche’s side, at least until the end of the current campaign.

Whilst the 34-year olds wrap list would make any Premier League dressing room wince, clearly Dyche thinks the fiery former Man City player has plenty to offer his side.
Surely the side’s inability to score away from home would be a primary concern rather than the addition of an ageing middle man, no?
